Gerardi’s work is abstract; highly symbolic, and spiritual.  Her images are graphical and two-dimensional.  Applying her technical background in Xylography (an ancient wood carving technique); as well as taking advantage of mixed media; she has found a perfect balance among inner expression; shape, color, and space.

Given her strong commitment to spreading (knowledge and use of) her engraving technique throughout the South Florida community, she spends part of her time giving workshops in museums and art galleries in both Broward and Miami-Dade Counties.

Gerardi currently has her studio in Lauderhill; and is participating in exhibitions throughout Latin America and Europe.
